How to use SignalOS

Daily workflow
Morning check-in
- Open Today — see 3–5 focus tasks and overdue items.
- Review calendar events; import meetings to Inbox if needed.
- Capture overnight thoughts in AI Inbox (mic or type).
Evening check-out
- Review tasks completed today.
- Triage inbox items (ideas, notes, decisions).
- Update Scoreboard for key initiatives.

Task
Action item — auto-creates a linked Task.
Idea
Concept to explore later — no task created.
Note
Meeting notes, context, observations.
Decision
Strategic choice — log for the team.
AI Inbox
- Tap the microphone or type walk-and-talk notes, meeting summaries, investor calls.
- Claude summarises and tags: Company, Product/Venture, Type (task/idea/note/decision), Project.
- Ventures are fuzzy-matched to your portfolio database.
- Edit tagging after creation from the detail page.
Tasks
- When Type = task, the Task Agent auto-creates tasks linked to the Inbox item.
- Use the Kanban board: Pending → In Progress → Done.
- Today view shows top 3–5 tasks and overdue items.
Scoreboard
- Track 6–10 strategic initiatives with GO / CAUTION / NO-GO and score 0–100.
- Add summary and 2–3 challenges per initiative.
- Connected to Company and Venture from your portfolio.
Integrations
- Google Calendar: OAuth connect — today’s events + import to Inbox.
- Notion: Two-way sync for Inbox and Tasks (Company Brain).
- Slack: Morning digest cron + task alerts via webhook.
Team operating model
Intake: Single intake via AI Inbox — all inputs captured once.
Triage: Type drives routing: task → Task board; idea/note/decision → review in evening check-out.
